Our self-publishing package will take you from manuscript to publishing-ready files for both printed books and eBooks. Self-publishing can be a daunting process, but with our team of experts by your side, you can feel confident that your book will be published to industry standards.
A book cover is often the first thing a reader sees, and making a great first impression is essential. Our talented designers will work with you to create a unique and eye-catching cover that reflects your book’s genre, theme, and tone.
In addition to cover design, we also offer page layout and typesetting services that ensure your book’s interior looks polished and professional. Once your book is designed and laid out, we’ll send you the book cover and interior files for the printed book and the book cover and interior files for eBooks.
Getting Started
To start your book’s self-publishing package, we will need:
- Book title and author name
- ISBNs (optional)
- Book blurb
- Final manuscript in Microsoft Word
- Completed questionnaire, including book/trim size & binding, style, and optional title page information
After your purchase, we will send you an email with information on sending us the above.
Our Process
- Getting Started items sent to BookReady.
- Book Cover Process
- We will send you a watermarked cover design with suggestions for edits or revisions.*
- Once feedback or approval is received, we will create and send the final book cover design.
If we do not receive feedback after 5 business days, we will consider the cover approved.
- Book Typesetting Process
- We will send you a watermarked design with any suggestions.*
- Once feedback or approval is received, we will typeset your manuscript.
- If needed, there is one round of edits.
We will consider the project approved if we do not receive any feedback after 5 business days.
- Once the cover and interiors are approved, we will send you your publishing and print-ready files.
*If we do not receive feedback after 30 calendar days, we will consider this stage approved and move on to the next stage.
Timeline
Once we have your Getting Started items, designing your book will take approximately 3-5 weeks. As with all our processes, our timeline depends on the author’s availability for feedback.
